Hi everyone,

Welcome to my personal website. My name is Alistair Marshall and I love to learn things and solve problems.

I am a chemical engineer by training and am chartered with IChemE. I currently work as a process control engineer for Petroineos at Grangemouth refinery in central Scotland. Previously I have worked in operations in the refinery and in the food industry.

I also devised and host Disastrous Dinners on behalf of the IChemE Scottish Members Group. This is a series of social events where we meet to discuss an accident or incident and what we can learn about it.

This site aims to provide more information about myself, my experiences and my work.
