Bad Weather

There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.

The above quote is often used by cyclists to encourage others to venture out during the wetter and colder times of the year. After tonight's commute home I call BS on that quote. Tonight was definitely bad weather.

I was soaked by the time I made it onto the public roads and the wind caused me to wobble several times. I was very glad to make it back to the house safely.

The annoying thing is that this morning I had an urge to tak the car but in the end I decided not to. I don't know why I had the urge this morning, but I just dismissed the thought as my subconscious being lazy.

Maybe being lazy isn't such a bad thing.
