Thoughts on Antifragile

I have finished reading Antifragile by Nassim Nicholas Taleb and my main feelings about it are those of frustration.

On the whole I did not like the book. I think I mostly agree with the author, but his style is so off putting that I can't see myself recommending it to anybody. There must be a better book out there that covers the same topics in a clear an persuasive way.

I could list lots of reasons why I disliked the book but I think they can all be covered under the heading of style. The author has his particular way of writing, that clearly suits him and has helped him achieve success but I found it difficult to read and process.

I think that this is one of those books that could be covered in a short article or two once you cut out most of the padding. I wish I had read someone's summary rather than bothering with the book itself.
