Now that the shops have started to put up their Christmas decorations, my nearly 4 year old son is getting very excited.

Unfortunately he is getting excited over the Great Christmas Lie that is peddled by society at large. It doesn’t matter how many times I tell him, the influence of others has greater sway. TV, shops and probably nursery as well all perpetuate this old myth and I just wish I could get through to him early before he is even more disappointed later.

Despite what you may have been told, it is unlikely to snow for Christmas.
