Twas the Day Before Christmas
And all through the CCB[ref]Central Control Building, AKA the control room[/ref]
Not a control engineer was fiddling
Not even me[ref]I apologise now for the bad poetry.[/ref].
This is one of those days for working offline, in the office and wherever possible, avoiding doing anything in the control room. Sure if something breaks, fixing it is the top priority. But the unwritten rule is “if it isn’t broken, don’t touch it”.
A lighter version of this happens on Friday afternoons, but the unwritten rule seems significantly more important on Christmas Eve.
