Last night was my rest 'day' during the event. Some folk don't like just taking one day off and feel that they need to take two in a row off to properly recover. I find that if I am on night shift, one is sufficient. There is no point in attempting to change by body clock back on to normal day shift mode, it would just give me shift lag and make me even more tired. It is better to be consistent and stick with the sleep pattern I have.
That means staying up, by myself, over night. It is a good opportunity to work on stuff that requires focus like programing. Alternatively I just curl up and read a book.
