Last week I attempted to restart work that I had been working on a couple of months ago. I had thought that I could return where I left off and get going again. If only.
It took us two and a half days to get the system working again as we had left it. It took another day to remember what the problems were that we had been working on and what work we still had to do. While we did make some progress last week, it didn't feel like much, it felt like the whole week had been wasted.
Today, despite feeling tired, I really felt like progress was being made. I managed to get into 'the zone' and as a result just about missed lunch.
While it is nice to be making progress, it is a good reminder about putting projects on ice. Be aware that restarting them will cost more than simply continuing on.Go Top
