Working with a Toddler

I had to stay home and look after my youngest kid who was not able to go to nursery today. I suspected that I would not get much work done, probably just an hour during nap time.

I got much more than that. For some reason, I was left to get on with my work while he played nicely in the other room. I didn't abandon him completely. I occasionally would join him, we would play together for a while, then he would get distracted by something else, letting me get back on with my own work.

It certainly wasn't a full day's work, but probably wasn't that far off.
