When was the Last Time I was Pig Headed?

I am currently trying to 'describe a time when you held a position or course of action despite difficulties or obstacles'. I can't think of anything specific and am tempted to say I prefer to work in a constructive manner and re-access situations as required rather than plough on regardless. I don't think that will work.
