Admitting Defeat

Tonight I have admitted defeat. It is the third Wednesday of the month, the night I had penciled in for this month's Disastrous Dinner. The problem being that I still haven't organised it yet.

I could have organised an event for next week, but I want to move away from last minute events. I should have tried to organise it sooner but just never got around to it. Between shutdowns, illnesses and working off-site, I just haven't managed to keep on top of things as well as I like.

So as a result, I have admitted to myself that I am not going to get it done this month. Lucily next month is already sorted. I just need to hope that I don’t make a habit of it.
