Playing in the Park

Rather than rushing off on any big adventures today, we kept it simple and stopped by a local park. It was nice to get out on the bike without feeling like there was a need to get anywhere quickly.

The kids got to get out and run free for a while, climbing various logs and play equipment. After playing for some time I took a leisurely pedal along some woodland paths in the hopes that a child in the trailer falls asleep.

It is great that we have such brilliant facilities so close by. I ought not to take them for granted, and to make more use of them.
